Michael Semeniuk is a Melbourne communication designer with a background in fashion and music. Experience in the fashion industry as an editorial model inspired Michael’s interest in design, an alliance that continues to be a driving force in his work.

In 2014, he worked as a junior designer at Folklore Design on major projects in branding, brand experience and FMCG for clients including L’Oréal Professionnel, Woolworths, H2o architects and La Máscara. In 2016, Michael was awarded runner-up in the 2015 DIA VIC/TAS Graduate of the Year Awards in the Graphic Design category, and was a finalist in the DINZ Best Awards. Following a position with architecture firm Elenberg Fraser, Michael was asked to join a Co-design research project facilitated by Swinburne University of Technology as a Research Assistant and Designer. Currently, he freelances for a diverse range clients, primarily in the fields of art, fashion, music and architecture.

Michael is a classically trained pianist and violinist. He holds an Honours degree in Communication Design from Swinburne University of Technology.
